Draft — needs legal review

This is a placeholder for the launch website. It is not legal advice. Have a lawyer in British Columbia review it before this page is treated as final.

Terms of Use

Last updated October 30, 2026. Draft for legal review.

Draft status

These terms are a placeholder for snapandfixhome.com. They are not a finished contract and they are not legal advice. A lawyer in British Columbia should review them before the site is treated as live. The legal name and mailing address of the operator will be added in that review.

This website

The site explains Snap & Fix and also takes repair requests. A homeowner can text a photo or use the Get help page. The reply may include general DIY steps or an estimated price range and, if you ask, quotes from local contractors. It does not take payment. The estimate is not a final quote. Street addresses are sent only to the contractor you choose.

Waitlist

Joining the waitlist does not create a service contract, a price, or a promise that the app will launch on a particular date or in every municipality. You can ask us to delete your email. See the Privacy Policy.

Contractor interest

The form at /join is an expression of interest. It does not make you an employee, partner, franchisee, or agent of Snap & Fix Home. It does not guarantee leads. We may decline an application. There is no fee to send the form. This site does not state a price for future leads. Any fee would be agreed before a business is asked to accept jobs.

You confirm that the details you send are accurate, that you have the right to share any photo, and that the photo does not needlessly include other people or a client’s house number.

The product described here

Pages on this site describe the app we intend to build: photo diagnosis, DIY steps when they are appropriate, and matching a licensed local contractor with an estimated price range. Features can change before launch. Estimated ranges, when the app offers them, are estimates. The contractor confirms the quote. Homeowners hire contractors directly.

Nothing on this website is repair instruction, an inspection, a permit, or professional advice. Regulated work in British Columbia, including electrical, gas, and structural work, belongs with a licensed trade.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the forms, submit someone else’s personal information without authority, upload a photo you do not have rights to, or try to break or overload the site.

The name and the logo

The Snap & Fix name, the Snap&Fix wordmark, the logo, and the text on this site belong to the operator. Do not copy the brand for another product.

Disclaimer, for counsel to replace

The site is provided as it stands while the product is in development. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Placeholder for counsel: to the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for repairs, DIY attempts, contractor work, quotes, or delays that are later arranged through the app or discussed because of this website. That sentence is a drafting note, not a finished limitation of liability.

Governing law

This draft is meant to be governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, with the courts of British Columbia as the venue. Counsel should confirm that choice before publication.
